Wenge quarter cut

Usually a rich chocolate brown with marked black veining, Wenge veneer can vary in darkness.
The wood is heavy and coarse textured but when finished the surface has a striking and attractive appearance.
Crown veneer is produced from flat or half-round cut logs and straight grain veneer,
much in demand, is obtained by quarter or rift cutting.
Wenge is used in modern furniture making and for panelling and other architectural interior decoration.
Available as a constructional veneer in 1.5mm thickness.
